Poolside glow

It’s summertime! Although that typically means nothing to me because I don’t do “outdoors” stuff much at all, I wanted to share this outfit which I love and never get to wear anywhere.

I bought this cute set a year ago, once again from Maria Doll, a small Senegal-based business which always comes through with the styles and customer service. I hadn’t worn it out yet because the skirt is pretty short and it’s best suited for nighttime parties where it’s okay if you show a little a*s… but when I saw this pool, I knew it was time!

The fun part about this outfit is its reflective properties. When under the sun or flashy lighting, it gives a totally different vibe and I like how that looks on my brown skin.

Shout out to this AirBnB for being the ideal location for this shoot. There are so many amazing locations in Senegal and this was the perfect place for a 48-hour getaway.
